Delete A Client

Important

By deleting a client, you are deleting a lot more than just their basic details. You will be deleting any corresponding shift notes, rates, emergency contacts, as well as unlinking any invoices from the client.

Before deleting a client, you may want to check that you aren't obligated to maintain any of these records such as shift notes, prior to deleting a client.

It may also be worth exporting the client data so you can store it on a hard drive, print it out or store it in a cloud storage service long term.

How do I delete a client?

You can delete a client in two ways:

  1. From the Clients Table
  2. From the Client Details page

From the Clients Table

To delete from the clients table, simply navigate to Clients and select the trash icon next to the client you wish to delete.

You will be prompted to enter the clients name into a box to confirm that you wish to delete the client. Enter the name and press "Delete" to confirm.

From the Client Details page

To delete a client from the client details page, navigate to Clients and select the client you wish to delete. This will open the client details page.

You will see a "Delete Client" button at the bottom of the tabs list if on Desktop, and a trash icon next to the tabs dropdown for tablet/mobile. Press the delete button and enter the client's name into the box, then press "Delete" to confirm.
