Edit A Service

How do I edit a service?

To edit a service, go to Products & Services, make sure you're in the "Services" tab/section rather than "Products", and find the service you wish to edit. Click the edit button in the actions column for that service.

You will be presented with a popup pre-filled with the service's information.

The only field you will be able to edit is the 'Name' of the service, as changing the support item number will affect past invoice/shift-note line items.

What will happen to invoices that already include this service?

Changing the name of a service will appear on past invoices when editing them, but when printing or emailing invoices the name you set is not used. The support item number is used for the PDF, and so no change will be seen when emailing or printing past invoices.
