Product Categories
How do I add a product category?
You have 2 options:
- Go to Products & Services, make sure you're in the "Product Categories" tab/section and press the "Add Product Category" or "+" button.
- Go to Products & Services, edit or add a product (Learn How here), and type the new category name into the category dropdown, then press enter or tap off the field.
When using option 1, you will be presented with a popup asking for a name. Simply enter a name for the product category and press "Save Category".
When using option 2, the category will be saved automatically using the name you entered.
How do I edit a product category?
To edit a product category, go to Products & Services, make sure you're in the "Product Categories" tab/section and find the category you wish to edit. Click the edit button in the actions column for that category.
This will open a popup pre-filled with the category's name. Edit the name, then press "Save Category".
How do I remove a product category?
To remove a product category, go to Products & Services, make sure you're in the "Product Categories" tab/section and find the category you wish to remove. Click the delete button in the actions column for that category.
This will open a popup asking for confirmation. Press "Delete" to confirm.
This is not reversible and will remove the category from any products that use it!
